The goal was to achieve a 3D look while working within a 2D animation framework. By using Cinema 4D, I was able to create advanced dynamic motion of 100+ primitive objects in just 15 minutes, in After Effects it would have taken days to achieve the same level of detail.
Additionally, Cinema 4D gave me full control over each individual element, allowing me to create a more polished and refined final product. Overall, this project was an exciting opportunity to experiment with new techniques in motion design and explore the possibilities of using Cinema 4D as a replacement for After Effects in certain situations.
During the winter of 2022-2023, I enrolled in the Advanced Motion Method course at the School of Motion. Words cannot describe how amazing this experience was. The course focused on the main fundamentals that trigger big and complex methods on a large scale, and I came away with a much better understanding of animatics, types of transitions, and developing different perspectives about general sine wave speed curve.
Overall, this course was fantastic, and it allowed me to expand my skillset and knowledge in motion design. I'm excited to take what I've learned and apply it to my future projects. The School of Motion is an excellent resource for anyone interested in motion design and animation, and I highly recommend their courses to anyone looking to further their skills in this field.
Working on the Blend project was an amazing experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of it. It challenged me creatively and allowed me to showcase my skills in motion design. I look forward to future opportunities to work on similar projects and continue growing as a motion designer.
