or this project, I used a Sony camera FS5 to capture the slow-motion footage. I also had the pleasure of using ARRI's Sky Panel lighting, which was incredibly convenient as I could adjust everything from my iPad. Since the project was slow-motion, I needed to carefully control the frame rate and adjust the lighting to achieve the desired effect. It was a bit complex to deal with the shutter automatic change while switching frame rates, but I was able to successfully experiment with the Arri's hertz adjustments to comepnsate flickering.
The Sony camera FS5 goes up to 960 fps with a Sony recorder, and I used Rokinon lenses on this project. However, I found that the lenses didn't quite meet my expectations, and I wouldn't use them again in the future.
The project was assisted by the creative department of the Bank of Georgia, and I would like to extend a special thanks to Nini Bukia - the producer at Bank of Georgia. Without her support and guidance, this project wouldn't have been possible.
Overall, the Valentine's Day video project was a truly beautiful experience, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have worked on it. I'm excited to continue honing my craft and creating even more stunning visual works in the future.
I've been a Bank of Georgia employee for over a year and half, and with the help of my mentor Nika Gujejiani and support from Ninuna Ungiadze, I placed 3rd in the Film category at the Young Cannes Lions Festival.
